Note that these are generalized terrain battle quotes. A great number of heroes either negate the penalties impeded by the environment or gain a bonus from them.

Special Fields
Magic Field All magic users gain a -30 bonus
Anti-Magic Field All magic users suffer -30 penalty
Restoration Field Gain 1d10 troops (lasts two rounds)
Battle Item Occasionally a battle item can be found on the field (see chart below for details)
Kuriboh! Surround the creature! If you control the side with the most surrounds, the Kuriboh will take you to it's village to pray at the well.

Battle Items: (Note: Battle items are usable only once)
Item Description Chanc to find (1-10)
Speed Gem Allows a unit to move either twice as fast for three rounds or three times as fast for two. 1-3
Warp Pad Allows a unit to move to any unoccupied marker on the field 4-5
Siege Weapon Allows a unti to fire up to 4 markers away. The target marker and every surrounding one suffers -2d20 troops 6
Flare Allows a unit to summon any other unit within quarter grid to it's side 7
Spirit Potion Gains 4d10 troops for the duration of the battle. Once the battle is over, these troops are negated 8
Battle Horn For the next four rounds, all units and allies within 3 diameter gain a +20 in all attacks 9
Create Field Allows a unit to place a Magic or Anti-Magic Field anywhere on the grid 10
